The decoration of the hostel was lovely, creating a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The common areas were spacious and well-maintained, providing ample seating for relaxation. As a senior woman, I appreciated the hostel's accessibility, with easy access to the beds and plenty of space for storing my belongings.
The only thing I would suggest for a better vacation experience for senior people is for the children working there to provide more assistance and support.

The staff at the hostel were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided was excellent, and the hostel itself was very clean. They even offered free coffee, tea, cookies, and bananas. The warm showers and beds with curtains in the dorm were a nice touch.
Felt very secure, no complaints.

The decoration at the hostel was charming and exuded a warm and homely atmosphere. The common areas were tastefully adorned with cozy furnishings and vibrant artwork, creating a welcoming space for senior guests. The accessibility for senior people was exceptional, with smooth ramps and no stairs to navigate. It was a delightful surprise to find that the hostel had carefully considered the needs of older guests.
The only thing I would suggest for a better vacation for senior people is if the children working there could provide more organized activities or excursions specifically tailored for us. This would give us a chance to explore the beautiful surroundings of Koh Tao with like-minded individuals and make the most out of our stay.

Great value for money, the room was clean and comfortable with big beds and curtains for privacy. The location was convenient, close to the pier and just a short walk to Sairee beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Rolf who gave great recommendations for things to do on the island.
Hotel breakfast could have been better with more variety.

Great location, close to the pier, supermarket, and restaurants. the staff was friendly and helpful. the rooms were clean and had separate beds for privacy. the manager kept our passports for security. the hostel was quiet at night, no loud music.
Christmas at the hostel was a disappointment. There was no festive atmosphere and no events or activities organized for the guests.

The rooms at Koh Tao Central Hostel are truly a home away from home. They are individually furnished with a cozy and welcoming decor that instantly makes you feel comfortable. As a vegetarian/vegan, I was delighted to find that the hostel provided separate sitting areas in the rooms. It was the perfect spot to enjoy my plant-based meals in peace. The shared bathroom facilities were always clean and well-maintained. The hot-water shower with rainfall showerheads offered a refreshing and invigorating experience. Free in-room WiFi made it easy for me to stay connected with my loved ones and share my incredible experiences on social media. The 24-hour air-conditioning in the dormitory-style rooms kept me cool and comfortable throughout my stay. It was a relief after long days of exploring the island.
Personally, I found the presence of separate living rooms in some rooms unnecessary for my needs. However, I understand that others may appreciate the extra space and comfort.

The rooms at Koh Tao Central Hostel are individually furnished and provide a cozy and comfortable space to unwind. As a vegetarian/vegan, I absolutely loved the separate sitting areas where I could relax and enjoy my plant-based meals. The free WiFi was a plus too, allowing me to stay connected with my fellow veggie friends online.
I personally found the shared bathroom facilities to be a slight inconvenience, but hey, it's just my personal preference. Others might not mind it at all and still have a great time at the hostel.

Located in a prime spot, this hostel provides easy access to the ferry and is only a short walk to Sairee Beach. The hostel offers comfortable beds with curtains for privacy and daily cleaning. Guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast and have access to tea, coffee, and bananas throughout the day. The hostel also has a living room and a restaurant with a pool nearby for socializing with other travelers.
The bed sheets are quite thin, and it would be beneficial to have a different type.

Central is an amazing hostel in Koh Tao. The location is unbeatable - just a minute away from the pier and a short walk to the lively Sairee Beach. The owners, Rolf and Richard, go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and taken care of. I can't thank them enough for their hospitality. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with the added privacy of walls between the beds. The air conditioning is a blessing in the tropical heat. Plus, they offer a discount at local bars when you show your key. I had a fantastic experience at Central and would highly recommend it.
